Valif
Valif is a medication used to treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in men. ED is a condition where a man struggles to achieve or maintain a firm erection during sexual activity, primarily due to inadequate blood flow to the penis.
Valif belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the pelvic region, improving blood circulation to the penis, and enabling a firm erection when a person is sexually aroused.
Valif 20mg, manufactured by Ajanta Pharma Ltd, contains Vardenafil as its active ingredient and is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men.
How does Valif work?
When a man is involved in sexual stimulation his body reacts by rushing blood to his penis which causes an erection.
The drug Valif at the time of sexual stimulation helps in increasing the flow of blood that reaches the penis of a person and hence help men who are suffering from Erectile Dysfunction. Because of the increased flow of blood, a man gets a satisfactory erection that sustains long enough to complete one entire session of sex.
The erection after complete sexual intercourse starts to flow out of the penis which fades out the erection.
How to take Valif Tablet?
This drug should be taken an hour before involving in sexual activity. This drug requires a person to be sexually stimulated. Valif 20 can be taken without or with the meal and does not hold any restrictions as such.
This drug Valif contains an active ingredient Vardenafil which starts acting on the erectile tissue of a man which is present in the pelvis of a person.
This enhances the blood flow that goes to the penis of a person and hence causes an erection. Sexual stimulation releases nitric oxide in the erectile tissue which further helps in activating the cyclase enzyme present in the body of a person.
This enzyme works by increasing the level of cyclic guanosine monophosphate which is used to relax the blood vessels that flows into the penis of a man. The flow of blood then causes an erection in a man.
There is another enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5 which helps in breaking down an erection by releasing the flow of blood out of the penis. The drug Valif acts on these enzymes and helps a man to form a proper erection.
